The Missouri Quizbowl Alliance sponsored two teams in the virtual National All-Star Academic Tournament (NASAT) on June 17-18, 2023. The teams were coached by Jason Loy, Ganon Evans, and Jeffrey Hill.
Max Yang, a senior from Ladue Horton Watkins High School, was also selected to Team Missouri A but could not attend.

Team Missouri B tied with Maryland Red and Kentucky for fourth in the pool with a 4-4 record, setting up a two stage tiebreaker for the last two spots in the championship pool. After Maryland Red lost the first half game to Kentucky, Missouri B played Maryland Red for the fifth spot, which Maryland Red won 165-55 to advance Missouri B to the bottom playoff bracket.
With 37.50 points per game in the preliminary rounds, Owen Arneson was named to the all-star team as the #7 individual scorer!
