- Questions: NAQT MS-42
- This year we will be running different divisions:
- A "Challenger" Middle School (Grades 7-8) division for teams that are looking to attend Nationals and/or consistently earn over 16 Points per Bonus on a regular NAQT MS set.
- A "Contender" Middle School (Grades 7-8) division for teams that don’t fit the definition for Challenge
- A "Competitor" Elementary (Grades 6 and younger) division
The aim in splitting up the field is to help with scheduling and to keep teams playing competitive matches throughout the day.

- Middle School Tournament
- NAQT MSNCT Qualifier
- Questions: NAQT MS-40
- Current plans are for this to be an in-person tournament; however, should circumstances warrant, we will switch to a virtual platform.
Correct tossup answers are ten points each, with an additional five-point “power” awarded for providing a correct answer before a predetermined point. We will not assess a penalty for interrupting the moderator during the tossup with an incorrect answer.
As we are continuing to finalize particulars, we have not yet decided on whether to allow bouncebacks on bonuses.
Teams will play five morning rounds, break for lunch, then return for at least three afternoon games. This setup is subject to change, depending on the number of teams signed up. We plan to start the team meeting in our cafenasium at 8:30 a.m., with the first round set for 8:50 a.m. and afternoon rounds slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. We anticipate the last game ending around 4 p.m.
